Our Pets

This is Rosie, our Border Collie.  We adopted her at age 2.  She had to be put to sleep at age twelve in December of 2007.  She was the typical high-maintenance border collie type.  Luckily for us (bad news for the cats), she considers the cats  her sheep.  She is a really great dog. Chris is so impressed with how smart Rosie is that he is considering joining the Search Dog Society to train her as a search dog like those who go to the sites of lost people and natural disasters. Now all he has to so is find the time.

This is Sky.  He is Daniel's dog.  He is now 8 years old.  He is a Blue Heeler/Beagle mix.  He is a living vacuum cleaner.  The only thing he hasn't eaten is garlic.  Daniel says we should lie and say is the best behaved dog in the world.  NOT!  

This is Clarissa.  She is Daniel's cat.  We also call her the queen.  Or more accurate, the B...CH.  Daniel named her after the show 'Clarissa Explains It All'.  She constantly explains things to us.  We are not sure what she is saying, but we are pretty sure you can't print her words.  She is now 5 years old.
